The Snapshot captures video footage using digital cameras. At weddings, we typically use one manned camera and multiple tripod-mounted cameras. We attend your rehearsal to determine the ideal placement for these tripod cameras.

We use a wireless microphone transmitting directly to our manned camera, and monitor sound with earphones throughout the wedding. At the rehearsal we identify and resolve any interference problems that might occur between the church's sound equipment and ours. If you dismiss your guests pew-by-pew, you'll hear each guest clearly in your video.

At your reception, we use one camera to capture the festivities. We stay throughout all the planned highlights at your reception, and check with you before leaving to make sure we've captured all the events.

The Snapshot doesn't use video lights. You have created an ambiance at your reception that you and your guests are enjoying. Video lights usually destroy it.

The Snapshot also does extensive editing. We'll use picture-in-picture effects, reversed footage, repeated footage, etc. to create an entertaining video for you. Our DVD's enable you to dive right into the parts you like best, and we put "chapter points" in where they do the most good so you can skip over parts if you wish. We also create video montages. These are a series of short (just a few seconds) video clips that, when put together, tell an abbreviated version of the story that is told by a full video. These are offered by the top studios in the country. A video montage is put together with music (of your choice) in the background. We offer video montages for your wedding, your reception, and a collection of the events of the whole day that we call "fun stuff". You'll love these!
